    <title>Funny Baking Story</title>
    <link>http://www.kimsfavoritecookierecipes.com/cookie-recipes-blog.html#Funny-Baking-Story</link>
    <description>I had a funny story that I just had to share. I was baking cookies last night for a couple of people who wanted home baked cookies for their children's Christmas parties but didn't have the time to bake themselves.

So, the first batch of cookies went fine. Then I started on the second batch. As I was placing the cookie sheet filled with cookies into the oven, 4 of the cookies slipped off and went splat, right onto the bottom of my oven.

Well, of course, you know what happened next don't you. That's right, they started to burn and smoke started flowing out of my oven.

I closed the oven door and ran around the kitchen trying to find utensils to get the burning cookies with.

Finally I found my BBQ mitt and spatula. I moved the bottom rack up and started scraping the burning cookies up off the bottom of the oven. As I'm doing so, my kitchen is filling up with delicious smelling smoke.

I finally got enough of the cookies out that the oven finally stopped smoking but I now had clouds hovering under my lights. I suddenly thought &quot;Oh, the fire alarms!&quot;

So, I ran around the house opening windows to prevent my alarms from going off.

So, don't feel bad if you've ever set off your fire alarms. Apparently, no one is safe.

I hope you had a good laugh. If you enjoyed this post, please share it with your friends.</description>
